Announcement of next year's Provincial Grand Wardens

At the meeting of the Worcestershire Installed Masters' Lodge on Saturday afternoon, the Right Worshipful Provincial Grand Master announced that, at the next meeting of Provincial Grand Lodge to be held at Birmingham University on Saturday 9th June 2018, he would be appointing W.Bro. Chris Vendy as Provincial Senior Grand Warden and W.Bro. Mark Lodge as Provincial Junior Grand Warden.

A fitting honour for two brothers who have given long and committed service to the Province.

W.Bro. Chris was initiated into the Wernlegh Abbey Lodge No. 6356 in February 2005, obtaining the Chair in September 2010. In 2016, he was asked to be part of a small team of trainers delivering the UGLE Members' Pathway Project Pilot in this Province. He also sits on the 2022 Festival committee as the Masonic Hall Co-ordinator with W.Bro Patrick Firminger APGM as the Chairman.

W.Bro. Mark was initiated into the Royds Lodge No. 1204 in February 2005, obtaining the Chair in May 2010. He was appointed a Provincial Grand Steward in June 2013 and then Provincial Grand Mentor in June 2014. He has given great service to the newer members of the Province and has been heavily involved with UGLE in the development and roll-out of the Pathway scheme, implemented locally by W.Bro. Mike Dykes, Provincial Membership Officer.

We congratulate both our brothers on their promotion and wish them a very enjoyable year supporting the Province and our Provincial Grand Master.
