Talking Heads Royal Arch Presentation

A campaign to enhance interest in Holy Royal Arch Masonry in Worcestershire had a highly successful launch at the well attended  November meeting of the Lodge of Hope and Charity at Kidderminster when a newly-formed team of Companions presented “Talking Heads.”

Based on a format created by the Supreme Grand Chapter, Barry Griffin and Paul Sturdy engaged in an informal question and answer chat show that traced the history of the Order and how important – and very enjoyable! – it is today.

Acting as “link man” was Geoff Weston, Past Provincial Deputy Grand Superintendent, who has organised the project assisted by the Provincial Grand Director of Ceremonies, Tim Jones. Geoff said,  “The aim is to stimulate interest in Royal Arch and to encourage Master Masons to join.”

A series of presentations to various lodges in the Province are planned. Among those so far arranged are:

  • November 21, St Kenelm Lodge at Stourbridge
  • November 23, Bordesley Abbey at Redditch
  • February 22, Hagley and Holy Wells at Halesowen
  • March 12, Avon at Evesham.

Other members of the Team, who will interchange roles as necessary, are: Tim Jones, Derek Owen, Ian Fothergill, George Munro, Alan Bolton, and, Simon Rogers.
