Men on the Footplate

I am pleased to advise you that we are now steaming along the sidings towards the main with the safety valves just starting to feather, as 26 Brethren having confirmed their wish to become Founders;  bringing the combined total of Brethren wishing to become members of our proposed new railway Lodge to 53.

43 Brethren were treated to a Masonic Feast, the Raising of Bro. Keith Bennett, a West Midlands Police Dog Handler, 6 colleagues from various Lodges came to support Keith.

The Ceremony was conducted by W. Bros. Barry Griffin and Bryan Hair; the W.M. shared the work of the S.D., who had to go to work

Hope and Charity Full House


The Lodge of Hope & Charity, No. 377, at Kidderminste,r has had to put up the dining shutters for the Installation of  Bro. John Stevens on February 7.

So popular is John that with three weeks still to go the maximum of 86 diners was reached with dozens still hammering on the door!


An Evening for our Newer Members and their Mentors

You may recall that the Provincial Grand Lodge of Worcestershire held “An Evening for our Newer Members and their Mentors” on Tuesday 1st March 2016 at the regular meeting of the Unity Lodge No. 5812. This event was a tremendous success, with over 100 Freemasons attending, including 50 Master Masons, Fellow Crafts and Entered Apprentices....
